On May 1, 2012 UNA Administration set a plan into place that will allow Kilby School and the Child Development Center to continue to operate next year and beyond! The plan affirms the value of Kilby to the UNA mission but also recognizes the financial realities we face as an institution.
I am pleased to report to you that a plan is being put into place that will allow Kilby School and the Child Development Center to continue to operate next year and beyond. The plan will stabilize the UNA subsidy to those operations at a level below the past five years while preserving core functions. Dean Donna Jacobs and Principal Mary Maschal will present to me a detailed plan of implementation in the next few days. The plan affirms the value of Kilby to the UNA mission but also recognizes the financial realities we face as an institution.
This review has been emotionally difficult for many people. It is my sincere hope that we can put this matter behind us and move forward with confidence.

One of the MANY great things about Kilby, the CDC, and UNA is the community of family that surrounds them. This website and the entire 'Kilby Strong' campaign is a cooperative effort from EVERYONE in the PTO. Without the effort of these passionate Kilby parents and the continued support from UNA administrators, who knows where Kilby would be. We are Kilby Strong since 1872!
